De avledningar som visar ST-höjningar avspeglar nämligen det ischemiska området. det innebär att det finns tecken på en hjärtattack som ligger i området mellan vänster och höger sida av hjärtat.

A septal infarct is a myocardial infarction (heart attack), that is, tissue death of some part of the wall (interventricular septum) that divides the right and left sides of the heart. If the leads are placed too high on the chest or you have COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), which can shift the position of the heart in the chest, this could be an incorrect interpretation by the ECG machine. My EKG resulted in sinus rhythm but possible inferior or anterior infarct – age undetermined.
